Please review this policy before using, handling, cleaning, or repacking any Hosted Crates rental item, add-on, or experience extra.
The customer is responsible for the safe use, placement, operation, supervision, handling, cleaning, and return of all rental items from the time items are delivered until they are picked up or returned to The Hosted Crates.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the most current manufacturer safety instructions, product guides, warnings, updated safety information, product notices, and recall information before using any rental item.
If The Hosted Crates becomes aware of a material recall or safety issue before delivery, we may remove, replace, substitute, credit, refund, or cancel the affected item or portion of the reservation.
If a recall is announced after delivery, the customer must stop using the affected item and follow applicable manufacturer or government instructions.
Safety cards, QR codes, labels, setup guidance, and product notes provided by The Hosted Crates are intended to support safe use. They do not replace manufacturer instructions, product manuals, safety warnings, updated safety notices, product recalls, adult supervision, or the customer's responsibility to use reasonable care.
Adult supervision is required for rental items involving heat, flame, electricity, food equipment, moving parts, glass, small parts, cords, outdoor use, water, liquids, or items accessible to children or pets.
Children and pets must be kept away from Rental Items when their access could create a safety risk, contamination, or damage.
Only fire, candle, heating, cooking, and electrical devices supplied or approved by The Hosted Crates may be used with the rental setup.
Customers must use flame and heat-related items only as instructed, maintain required clearances, keep them away from children, pets, and flammable materials, never leave them unattended, and allow all items to cool completely before moving, cleaning, or repacking.
When a Tabletop Fire Pit is included, it must be operated by a responsible adult using only the approved fuel and on a stable, heat-safe surface. Follow all item-specific instructions.
Electrical items must be used only as intended, kept away from water and damp surfaces, placed on stable and dry surfaces, turned off and unplugged before cleaning or moving, and never used if damaged or malfunctioning.
Cords should be positioned to reduce tripping hazards and should not block walkways or exits.
Some reservations may include food-related equipment, serving pieces, packaged food items, toppings, ingredients, or similar event enhancements.
The Hosted Crates does not prepare food and does not accommodate or verify food allergies, dietary restrictions, ingredient sensitivities, or other individual dietary requirements.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all packaging, ingredient lists, allergen statements, cross-contact warnings, expiration information, storage requirements, preparation instructions, manufacturer warnings, and recall information before opening, preparing, serving, or consuming a product.
The Hosted Crates does not guarantee that a consumable product is allergen-free or appropriate for a particular dietary, religious, personal, or medical need.
Customers are responsible for monitoring weather, wind, heat, rain, humidity, ground conditions, and outdoor hazards.
Rental items must be protected from rain, sprinklers, standing water, mud, excessive moisture, strong wind, extreme heat, smoke, and other damaging conditions.
Unless an item is expressly identified as weather-resistant, electronics must remain dry and textiles, décor, and other vulnerable pieces should be moved indoors during rain or heavy moisture.
Keep walkways and exits clear. Be mindful of cords, rugs, uneven surfaces, breakable items, moving or folding parts, and equipment placement.
Do not climb on, overload, alter, or misuse Rental Items.
Before repacking, remove food, beverages, ice, grease, syrup, frosting, wax, trash, tape, personal decorations, and personal belongings.
Turn off and unplug electronics. Allow heated items to cool completely.
Items must be dry and placed in their assigned crates, bags, sleeves, cases, containers, or compartments according to the provided repacking guidance.
Stop using any item that appears damaged, unsafe, incomplete, recalled, unstable, unusually hot, smoking, sparking, leaking, wet, cracked, frayed, or otherwise not operating normally.
Do not repair, alter, replace, discard, or dispose of a Rental Item without written authorization from The Hosted Crates.
